This picture is of a leaf from the garden
floating in a barrel that filled with water from one of the first rains of the year. When editing the
picture I did not want to do much because I liked it a lot how it was but I did
decide to make the water black and white to further the contrast between the
bright green leaf and the dark water. I took this picture on a dark, cloudy day
in the morning. This picture contains black and white juxtaposition, bright and
dark colors, smooth and textured elements, and blurry and clear. If I could
have changed anything about this picture, I would want the front tip of the
leaf to be more clear.
