Green
I chose this picture to use as my blog post because I took it when I was in Hawaii and I loved how it turned out. Geckos were all over the island and the area that we stayed in on the Big Island was all jungle so everything was very green and I feel like this picture represented Hilo nicely. I really liked the colors in the picture and the spiraling plant and would not change anything about it. The picture has leading lines, center of interest, and macro.

I took this picture as a weekly but i never used it i love the selective coloring as it floats on the surface of the water.
The Last season
These gloves have made it through high school and now I only have one more season of football left. Just finished spring ball and that was my last one but these gloves have a lot of plays in them as well as memories.

Sun-Rayz
I took this photography when I went out to shoot for a weekly. I don't exactly remember what i was looking, I just remember i was taking random pictures. Anyways, I really liked this one in particular. I increased the contrast and decreased the brightness to bring out the sunlight hitting the flower. It contains background simplified, and I wouldn't change anything about this photo.

Dream
Growing up I have always been taught if you set your mind to you, you can and will succeed. So the first word that came to my head when I had to do this project was "DREAM." This word has always been very meaningful to me in my life, and has actually been something that pushes me forward.
Dream
I shot for the word 'dream' because it was a relatively short word and because it describes me in a way-- I always find myself day dreaming.. The only thing that I am not happy with about this photo is the letter 'r'. It was quite a challenge for me to find that letter, but it is what it is!

Stress
A lot of people told me I was being super negative when I chose this word for the alphabet project. Looking back however, I think I was truly reflecting on what described my life. Its really different for me now, because now I have no more AP tests, I just finished my last one today. It was really fun shooting for this project and it was cool to see simple things make elaborate pictures. This was definitely one of my favorite projects.
Flower in a Tube
This picture I took randomly when I found a flower in a tube. I really like this picture because the flower stands out a lot when it was inside the tube also because the backgrounds makes the flower look nice and beautiful.
A good friend
I like this picture because its one of my best friends Javier. He has been a good friend when he moved here!!!!!!
Water bubbles and Spider webs
This a kateidoscope that I did with a picture of water bubbles stuck to a spider web. I really like this picture because I like how the water bubbles look and how the spider web holds the bubbles perfect.
Shooting baskets
I like this picture because I'm doing something I love to do and that is playing basketball! I have to give photo credit to Edwin Munoz! I didn't know he took this picture until he showed me!
Rule of odd Trees
This picture I took when my assignment was to find rule of odd objects. I really like this picture because I like how the trees look and how there branches are green and a little black.
Water Bubbles on Plants
This picture I took when my assignment was to take pictures of macro. This is my other favorite because I like how the bubbles are on the plant.
Timberwolve sign
This picture was my second best because of how I took it. The gym is where I play and practice my favorite sport basketball and I love the game.
Timberwolves line
This assignment was that I had to take pictures of lines so I took this picture because I like how the lines curves. This picture is one of my favorites because I like how the words came out.
Alphabet work
I choose the word Car because I'm really into them. My favorite car is a Subaru Impreza WRX STI because they are really fast!!!!
Travel
I like this picture because of the warm lighting and sharp edges. I also thought it was neat how I could use picture of large objects and small ones and still make it all proportionate.

Zayd
The word that I did is Zayd. Zayd is the name of my little brother. I used a gate for the Z, a wheelbarrow for the A, a tree for the Y, and the handle of a bucket for the D
Alphabet werd
My word is my last name and is made of a piece of fencing, a peace sign, a drill hole, and a portapotty.
Soccer in different words
This picture was an assignment I had to do and I had to spell out a word so I chose soccer and I found different letter so I can spell out soccer. I really like how the picture came out because the different words make it nice and cool.
The One and Only
I made my alphabet word my name because there is never anything in those souvenir shops with my name on it so I took it as an opportunity to create this. I tried to make it very colorful and I obviously tweaked the hue/saturation a bit.

Alphabet word

For my word I chose my name. The S is from a tube for keeping dirt in place, the A is from three small logs, the M is from the road by my school. If I were to change anything I would make the three separate pictures be together instead of close. I cant think of any particular photographic elements in this picture.

Jet
I think this picture is cool because you can see the jet stream and the shape of the jet. It looks close even though its really 30,000 feet away.

Water Logged
Elements of design in this picture include reflection, leading lines and rule of thirds. I also like the lighting that falls right in the middle of the picture. It makes a little bit of juxtaposition between the lighted part and the darker part. I like how the rocks and the part of the wood is dry, also a little juxtaposition. I particularly like the rocks under the water which look cool combined with the light.
Bring on the Sun!
I took this picture on the grass in the parking lot. It reminded me that the warm weather is coming and yellow reminds me of that. So yellow represents warmth. This picture turned out well because of the bright sun shining. It has repetition background simplified and some rule of thirds. The camera was set on macro with the fresco filter.

Faded Flower...
hella high
I took this picture while one a five hour plane ride to New York. In order to take this picture and get the full view I had to use the panorama setting. This picture contains background included and a birds eye perspective. I did not use edit on this picture. I really enjoy this photo because of the clouds and the blue color on the top of the picture.
Bonfire
Over Spring break I went to Noyo with my friends to make a bonfire and just hang out. I saw the sun was setting and I took this picture. I like this picture because the colors on the sunset. I also like how the logs are arranged and it looks like leading lines.
Look Closely
This photo was taken for the reflection assignment, and it turned out really well. I really like the variety of color that came out. I used selective coloring, increased the saturation, and changed the hue. One thing I would change about this photo is I would have cropped it differently, but overall I am happy with the result.
~Just Chilling at the School Farm~
I like this photograph because this pig was in the right spot for my camera. He was just chilling with his buddies in the crisp morning. I love the way he looks in this photo, with the straw all over his head! It was fun taking this shot of him!
Spring Green
I saturated this picture to bring out the green and blurred the background to put more focus on the shamrock in the middle. I like the contrast between the dark at the bottom and the light on the top.
