Once in a Blue Moon

This is a juxtaposition of complementary colors yellow and purple creating  tension. It also uses proximity verse distance and sharp focus against a blurred soft background called Bokeh.
This was one purple Iris in a large amount of yellow Iris' growing in my yard in Humboldt.
I used Aperture Priority mode.
